That would leave a paper trail so no, I am pretty sure no one is going to do that for you.

jw.borg login that actually does something
by outinthemeadows inare there any jwn'ers out there who can set up logins for jw.borg?
i don't mean a normal login that collects personal information about its site users, but a proper login to all of the "secret tabs" specifically for elders etc.
i know there's elders, bethellites etc on here...so i thought i'd ask and see if anyone could set one up for me to use.

That's actually a good point mentioned above. The GB has repeatedly stated that 'family worship' is for all intents and purposes another meeting. So how on Earth is it appropriate for the father to wear a head covering?

Something to remember too is that there's ALREADY a 60%+ churn rate and it's over 75% for teens and young adults. That's pretty evident in western lands. Most of the growth is in all the other countries. Those countries will eventually become more secular as well and turn away from religion. That might be some time off but yeah you'll see the increase start slowing down and that churn go up.

Can we be deleted as an appointed man, or disfellowshipped without meeting in a committee?
by stuckinarut2 inso, i am genuinely wondering if the above is possible nowdays?.
with the changes in the power structure of co's, the changes in gb directives re never questioning "jehovah's appointed channel etc", i wonder if "disciplne can be given out in absence?.
i know that several elders in our cong have little "discussions" about my apparant slackening off, and would love to take action against me... they have tried to chat with me but that has been shot down.. so i wonder if they could just make a decision without me being present for it?

Yeah your fate has already been sealed :)
I remember when they met with me to say they were going to remove me, I didn't even put up a fight. I said, "OK. Great." I think they were a little surprised. I also remember how they 'wanted to help me' so I could be an MS again. I guess their idea of help is 1 shepherding call in 3 years.

I was speaking with my brother who lives in the NYC area. His congregation is assigned to the convention at Metlife (pro football stadium) in NJ. His congregation is hosting delegates. The branch sent a letter with direction on hospitality. The branch said it is OK to have parties, get-togethers, or whatever you want to call them, at the Kingdom Hall.
How the hell does that work after all the articles we've had telling JW's that's a bad thing that is innappropriate to do at a KH. No surprise that the GB changes their mind to suit their whims. Fucking terrible people.

Electronic cigs
by FL_Panthers inare they allowed?
can this be done if someone has had a problem with smoking in the past.
i'm assuming that patches and gum are viewed as the same?.

that's pretty interesting. If the e-cig has nicotine in it, that would probably be an automatic no since that would be druggery.
If the e-cig did not have nicotine, it would probably still be a no since it could stumble people as they'd think you were actually smoking something with nicotine.
